While my boyfriend was busy setting up a $2k gaming pc this weekend, I needed something to keep me busy. Tried this game. Could not put it down. Played straight through until the end. It is, as other reviewers have said, art. I wont say more. Just try.

Simple looking, but awesome game. Original and fun. I suggest this game to everyone I know.

& still a unique experience. For a long time, I didnt know about replaying the game without making huts for a different ending. And from what the podcasts said, people did not like it. But Im willing to try it out. Overall, this game is still very unique, even after the years that have passed by. Thank you, Amir and Michael for collaborating, creating this different kind of game, and creating an entirely new experience for me.

Im not much of a gamer and I actually dislike RPGs but something about the simple mechanics and impressionistic storytelling really drew me in to this one.

Really fun game. At first I thought it was kinda lame but as you get deeper into it becomes addictive.

I had my doubts when I first started playing, it seemed so simple that it couldnt possibly hold my interest but I was wrong. This game is awesome!! It takes you on a journey, a simple story that unfolds and captivates at each turn. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for something different, something thought provoking and fun to boot!

This game is wildly different from any other game in the App Store. To be honest, A Dark Room is more of an experience, full of questioning moral choices and constant speculation. The slow unfolding of choices and complex systems of survival kept my interest and also helped grow my curiosity of this world I was thrown into. This game seems simplistic at first, but later becomes a developed, intriguing plot. Overall, I loved the minimalistic design, the perplexing and haunting dialogue, the horror of who "youve" become, and most of all, how there wasnt any in app purchases to ruin the immersion. Also, I enjoyed the ending thoughts from the creators immensely as it allowed us, the players, to glimpse into the building of this world we knew. If youre looking for a fast-paced, action-packed game, I would suggest you look elsewhere. However, if you want a thought-provoking, haunting experience, I would recommend A Dark Room. I am thoroughly impressed with the developers and the work they put into this. Will be looking forward to their future projects!

First time playing this. I always seen this app sitting in the top charts and always went over it i clicked it many times but always seemed to forget about the one screenshot. But this game is truly amazing I could not stop playing this its so interesting and has all your attention. Literally has you begging for more no matter how many times you get killed by the sniper. This game is mind blowing and worth every cent thank you amir You changed my perspective on things.

I honestly feel that this is one of, if not the best game there is for the iPhone. You become so immersed. It keeps pulling you in. I got this exact same feeling when I played Fallout for the first time. Ive never loved a game on this store until now. I must find her.
